I haven't done this every year; I only started keeping real track of my movie-watching since launching Mail Order Zombie. Not surprisingly, this list is zombie-movie-heavy. Would I have watched as many zombie movies if I wasn't producing Mail Order Zombie? Probably not . . . not that I'm complaining! (I haven't seen Avatar as of the time of this posting, but I will be seeing it before midnight tonight, so it still counts!)
I don't know if there's a lesson to be learned by looking at this list. Maybe I don't watch enough documentaries? Not enough non-genre films? Foreign films? Meh . . . I don't know.

Do you look back and think all the hours spent on stuff like "Zombie 5: Killing Birds" is redeemed by the hours spent on stuff like Zombie Girl, Pontypool, [REC], and (yes) Zombieland?
Hehehe . . . My knee jerk reaction was to say, "Hell yes!" but I've had some time to think on it, and you know what? I'm glad I watched some of these flicks. As bad as something like 'The Dead One' is, when else would I have been able to watch it if not for MOZ? Did it need to be seen? Meh . . . I don't know. Maybe. Maybe not. But it's out there, and if I'm going to put myself out there as a "zombie movie guy," I gotsta take the good w/ the bad, you know?
Although, I sure did like 'Zombieland.' :)
